An Aporta folding door is the result of a fine piece of craftsmanship. Moreover, it is Belgian craftsmanship, as the APORTA team produces the folding doors entirely in-house at the workshop in Izegem, West Flanders. From their own design of the internal construction to the detailed finishing on the outside.
Aporta developed the internal mechanism for its folding doors. A strong, yet lightweight, smooth, and movable frame forms the foundation of this high-quality product. The welded construction in galvanized (stainless) steel ensures strength and a long lifespan.
Industrial ball-bearing wheels ensure a smooth folding movement, and fold magnets keep the leather folds neatly bundled. It is a suspended and floating system: no door frames are needed, and a floor rail is also unnecessary. You can hang a folding door anywhere, while the floor remains completely free.
